4 nude lipsticks you need in your makeup bag.

There are three nude lipsticks I can’t get out of my makeup bag and you shouldn’t either. Nude lipsticks can save you from chaotic situations like, you forgot your lipstick at home, you ate and don’t want to reapply the one you had because it’s too messy or you have absolutely no idea of what lipstick to wear.

I love having a nude lipstick always in hand, even though I’m wearing another one, I do change colors throughout the day and it’s always nice to have a backup. Most of the time I go for a natural look, which nude lipsticks come in handy, they’re easy to apply and will give a little bit of color to your make up, even though it’s nude, make sense?

Benefits of nude lipsticks

1.     They match any makeup look.

2.     They’re perfect for any season.

3.     They make your eye makeup pop.

4.     Easy to apply and remove.

5.     Won’t stain your lips.

6.     Can make your lips look bigger and juicier.

When nude lipsticks came back into a trend I couldn’t find one that matched my skin tone. They were all to pale for me and I ended up looking like a corpse, which is not pretty at all. I started using Gerard Cosmetics Cher, which quickly became one of my favorites, but after a while, I wanted something more creamy and easy to apply. I knew I wanted a lipstick instead of a liquid lipstick because they’re easy to apply. I also knew I wanted a Mac liquid lipstick because I already own a few, they’re creamy, matte, not so drying and easy to reapply. Off to Mac store, I went and this is what I found.

The funny thing about these two is that every time I went to a different Mac store I picked up the same two shades without knowing. By the time I was on the thirds store I decided to buy them both, I understood my call LOl.

On the left is Whirl and it is a light brown shade with a hint of mauve. I absolutely love this lipstick. I use it when I want a completely natural look. It is matte and easy to apply and reapply, which is very important. Very comfortable to wear, it’s not messy, won’t flake or budge.

On the right is Mehr. This one is a more pink shade, but still nude and subtle. I love to wear this when a want a little bit of color with my natural look and it works wonders. It is the same formula as Whirl and it is easy to reapply too.

I keep going back and forth between these two all the time. I love how they go well with every look, are easy to apply and comfortable to wear. If you want a nude lipstick to carry with you everywhere, definitely try these ones.

You all know I love liquid lipsticks so I couldn’t leave those behind. I came across Morphe liquid lipsticks a while ago while I was shopping at their store in LA. I picked a burgundy shade and a nude shade because we can never have too much nude shades, right? I picked up Jealousy liquid lipstick and I am absolutely in love with it. I am actually shocked that it doesn’t dry your lips at all. It is super easy to apply, the most comfortable formula ever to wear and the best part, it is only $12.99.

Another formula that I like as much as the Morphe formula is Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. The only big difference here is the price. Now, This is the most comfortable high- end formula I’ve tried. In comparison to Morphe, it is a little sticky but yet not so drying. Very easy to apply too and their color range is amazing. I like how they have travel sizes too and I actually own too. It is very convenient when you’re on the go.

My absolute favorite from Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks is Lolita. I have to confess I bought Lolita after everyone raved about it on youtube. It was so hard to get at first but when I finally did I understood why everyone wanted it. It is a pink mauve too, but it is a little darker than Jealousy by Morphe. I absolutely love this one, it was the first nude I fell in love with so it has a special place in my heart.

If you’re looking for a nude lipstick definitely try one of these. I can not explain how much I love them. I honestly carry them all in my makeup purse and they’re the most reached lipsticks from my collection. If you have tried any of these let me know how you like it and if you want one, let me know too.

What is your favorite nude lipstick? What is your favorite liquid lipstick formula?
