Current Favorites

Hey, Dolls! Since I’m trying to cut on buying that much makeup, I decided to write a current favorites every now and then instead of a monthly favorites. I also want to include more hair and beauty stuff instead of just makeup. On today’s post, I’ll share the products I have been loving lately.

Maybelline Super Stay Foundation

I have been using a lot of foundations lately, but the one I have been reaching out for the most is this one. At first, I struggled to find my shade due to the fact that it oxidizes almost two shades down and since it is so new, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I now mix shades 130 and 120 since one is too dark for me and the other one is to light. These two combined make the perfect shade.
What I love about this foundation is how full coverage it is, how well it blends and after mixing both foundations I find that it really matches my skin tone to perfection. It is amazing that you don’t have to use color correctors or apply tons of foundations since it covers so much. This is the foundation that can be used by people with acne scars, discoloration, or any other skin problem that needs to be covered. It is a matte foundation but it doesn’t dry out your skin to the extreme.
If you have dry skin like me, I always suggest to prep and hydrate the skin first. I always compare matte foundations to the Infallible Pro Matte because although the Pro Matte is an excellent foundation, it dries your skin way too much. This one is not like that. It will definitely keep the oil away, but it won’t make your skin look super drying.

L’Oareal Pro Glow Lock Primer

I was looking for a primer that was more like a strobing cream, helped with keeping the makeup in place and add a glow to the skin. Since I’ve loved the Infallible line by L’Oreal I decided to give this primer a try. I love how it adds a glow to your skin, but doesn’t have glitter and helps the makeup stay in place all day. This is all I have been using lately, I even stopped using the NYX Hydra-Touch primer.

Tarteist Clay Paint Liner

I have been wanting to try this eyeliner for so long. It was always out of stock at my local Ulta and Sephora and I just didn’t want to place an order online just for that. I finally got my hands on it and I immediately fell in love. It is a little bit expensive but it is worth every penny. It is very black, matte, lasts all day, doesn’t smears and it is very easy to apply. It comes with a brush so I’m guessing it makes up for the price. The brush itself is very good quality and makes it easier for you to create a wing liner. I can not say enough good things about this eyeliner, but if you’re looking for a very black and long-lasting eyeliner this is the one for you.

  Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask

I have been using this product for months and I can not even explain how good it is. If you have dry, damaged and color treated hair, this is the mask for you. It intensely conditions, hydrates, repairs, improves elasticity and smoothes the hair. After using, the hair feels super soft, shiny and hydrated. This is the key to my smooth and healthy hair. I iron it often and this really helps with keeping it breakage free, shiny, and soft. I recommend this product to anyone, especially people who apply heat tools to their hair often. You’ll love it.
These are the products I have been reaching out for the most. Out of all of them, I am obsessed with the Tarteist Clay Liner. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the Maybelline Eye Studio or the NYX Gel Liner. I also love the Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask and I highly recommend it for people that apply too much heat to their hair. This has done wonders to my hair and you can definitely see the notice when you use it vs. when you don’t. Let me know what are some of your favorites.
